Delivering The Goods - DB Schenker

Fourth in a series produced by Visions International looking at individual freight operating companies in the United Kingdom. This DVD focusses on the largest rail freight operator of DB Schenker formally EWS as of 2011. DVD begins with a brief survey and overview of the different classes of traction used. On to traffic flows, firstly steel and ore followed by a feature on various coal workings plus stone and cement trains. Next section is a feature dedicated to the class 67 locomotives, once deemed to have become a highly important locomotive but things did not quite go as planned. Returning to various traffic flows with a section on Network Rail trains. DB Schenker various operated intermodal workings are featured. Oil is another featured traffic flow as well as some of the other one off traffic flows operated is shown. DVD which can be played either with or without commentary shows a wide variety of locomotives at various locations. This DVD gives a wide overview of the various modes of freight traffic which is under the operation of freight operator DB Schenker.
