Edinburgh were to first to have horse drawn trams in 1882 and the electric trams did not arrive until 1922. When the trams were to arrive in this part of Scotland many types of variety were seen throughout the system and network. The DVD completed in connection with 226 group as well as Edinburgh Transport Group covers a wide history of electric trams that were in operation within Edinburgh from early days right up to closure in 1956.
