Description
A Train Crazy production as part of Big Freight series in co-operation with Videoscene and in association with Freightmaster providing the very best of freight activity in the UK. Action starts in Northumberland during August 2019 with class 60 hauled biomass trains on the freight only Lynmouth Power Station branch. Second feature is from June 2019 with action at the freight hot spot of Lincoln. Action incudes class 66 hauled stone trains, container trains, coal trains and sand trains along with class 60 hauled oil tanker trains. This is followed by a brief feature from June 2019 on the rarely used freight only Manisty Wharf branch. Then we take a look at double headed class 86 electric locomotives working container trains along the West Coast Main Line at Abington and at Carlisle. Next is a brief feature looking at class 37 diesel locomotives 37116 and 37219 “Jonty Jarvis” working Colas Rail operated ballast trains in August 2019 on the Far North Line of Scotland. Following this is a feature taking a look at stone trains operating in and out of Dallam Stone Terminal as well as Ashton Stone Terminal during July 2019 followed by taking a look at a variety of Colas Rail operated infrastructure management trains hauled by class 37 diesel locomotives. A return to the Northumberland area in September 2019 allows views of freight trains operating along the freight only North Blythe line then a look at class 70’s working oil trains in July 2019 at Workington in Cumbria. Next is a feature of class 20 diesel locomotives double heading spoil trains at Crewe and also in top and tail mode working Rail Head Treatment Trains at Rotherham. DVD finishes with a look at MOD train passing through Gleneagles and engineers trains at Glasgow Queen Street.
