Train Crazy production in connection with Videoscene and Freightmaster taking a look at freight activity in the UK between the end of 2017 and the start of 2018. Begins by taking a look at Rail Head Treatment Trains towards the end of 2017 at a variety of locations such as Durham, Lancashire, Yorkshire, and Shropshire. As part of this trains are shown with top and tail workings using class 20’s, 37’s, 56’s, and 66’s. Then shown are snow plowing duties plus the difficulty of freight movement as a result of heavy snowfall during February and March 2018. Next is a feature on freight along Cambrian Coast in April 2018. The action moves to South Yorkshire where three freight-only branches diverge, Applehurst Junction. The next featured location was Severn Tunnel Junction in September 2017 with workings such as coal, container, cement, steel, and stone trains. Then at Wrawby Junction and nearby Barnetby in North Lincolnshire as of April 2018 workings shown include biomass, coal, iron ore, oil, and steel trains. A major feature nearing the end is of normal booked workings and also many diverted workings as a result of engineering work over a weekend at Whittlesea.
