London Trams Part 1

London trams part 1 looks at trams that operated in the capital city that laid fame to become the largest network of tramway operation within Britain. They ran through Battersea, Wandsworth, Clapham, Wimbledon, and Purley. Introduction of trams over different networks occurred in stage. Featured on the DVD are the depots and workshops plus rare archive footage of the many routes served. Also shown is tram number 106 which was converted after withdrawal into a snow broom and sold to Sheffield. Several landmarks are clearly shown and also snowy scenes from 1947 as well as tram strike. It is a must for any tramway enthusiast.
