Steam Returns To London

An A and J Video Production in co-operation with Online Video looking at steam in and around London after withdrawal by British Railway in 1966. Start off with preserved London North Eastern Railway A3 4472 “Flying Scotsman” along with Great Western Railway King Class locomotive 6000 “King George V” running during 1970’s. Then a look at Rocket replica working during 1979 in Hyde Park. In 1985 celebrations took place for 150 years of Great Western Railway and as part of the celebrations Great Western Railway Broad Gauge Replica “Iron Duke” working at Hyde Park whilst London North Eastern Railway A4 4498 “Sir Nigel Gresley” and London Midland Scottish Railway Duchess Class steam locomotive 46229 “Duchess Of Hamilton” at London Marylebone.
