Riding The Class 20 Snowplough Move

Train Crazy production in co-operation with Videoscene and with the full assistance of Direct Rail Services taking us on a cab ride on board class 20 diesel locomotive 20303 which is couple with class 57 diesel locomotive 57009 on 12th January 2020 hauling refurbished snowploughs on a 90 mile journey from Kilmarnock to Carlisle via Glasgow South Western Route. Journey begins departing at 11:00 from Brodie Engineering of Kilmarnock heading through platform 3 at Kilmarnock and travelling on the up main through Auchinleck, New Cumnock, Kirkconnel, Sanquhar, Dumfries and Annan towards Gretna Green. After Gretna Green we pass over Gretna Junction to take the up main along the West Coast Main Line crossing Sark Viaduct which is also the crossing over the border between Scotland and England. In England we reach Mossband Junction to head along the freight only up avoiding line and then the arrival line in to Carlisle Kingmoor Depot.
