Marsden Rail Volume 36 - North From Crewe

This dvd starts on the West Coast Main Line at Crewe with bustle of activity is shown with LMS Black 5’s, LMS 8F’s, Ivatt 2MT’s, LMS 4F’s, Duchesses, Royal Scots and BR Britannia’s. A tour is taken of the many depots showing a vast quantity of steam and diesel locomotives stabled. LMS 8F’s on freight workings are shown Warrington and Arley Junction followed by BR class 47’s handling both passenger and freight services at Wigan. More action is shown further north at Preston where LMS Black 5’s undertakes a variety of duties. At Lancaster Castle and Camforth shed is also shown. Varied freight workings are then shown at Milnthorpe followed by passenger operations at Oxenholme and on the Windermere Branch Scenes featured at Grayrigg, Low Gill and Tebay are shown before visiting area of Carlisle Citadel and concluding at Beattock.
