London Underground R Stock Remembered

DVD looks back over the history of London Underground R Stock introduced in April 1950 for use on the District Line. Operation can be seen on Ealing Broadway to Upminster line as well as scenes within the Upminster Depot. Further operation can be seen on Richmond Branch, Olympia Branch and Wimbledon Branch. Further feature is looking at their use in the heavy snowfall of 1982 and then closes looking over the farewell tour that ran in May 1983.
