Marsden Rail Volume 17 - North Durham

A Marsden Rail production focussing on action from the railway between 1959 and 1967 around North Durham south of the River Tyne. DVD starts with LNER V2 hauled freight from York to Newcastle Tyne Yard. A look around Gateshead give an opportunity to view various freight workings to and from Dunstan which are also seen crossing King Edward Bridge. Scenes are also featured of various freight workings at Tyne Dock and at Sunderland. Another of the well detailed featured of the DVD were of the famous 9F hauled Consett Iron Ore Workings.
