Marsden Rail Volume 15 - Hellifield

A Marsden Rail production featuring a variety of activity taken in and around the North Midland Route of Hellifield located between Skipton and Carlisle. Footage was all filmed between 1959 and 1968 and show various types of passenger and freight traffic being hauled by a number of different classes of steam locomotives including 4F, 8F, A3, Black 5, Coronation, Crab, Fairburn Tank, Ivatt Class 4, Jubilee, Patriot, Royal Scot and WD plus BR Britannia’s, Clan, Standard Class 4, Standard Class 5 and 9F’s. Diesel multiple units are also featured along with diesel locomotive classes 24, 25, 37, 40, 45, 47 and 50.
