Marsden Rail Volume 28 - Harrogate and District

A Marsden Rail production using footage recorded between 1961 and 1967 with views starting at Leeds Central of varied freight and passenger activity followed by similar scenes at Bramhope, Arthington Junction, Pool in Wharfdale and Harrogate. Scenes follow along the route between Harrogate and York including branches to Starbeck and Boroughbridge. Featured action north of Harrogate include locations such as Nidd Bridge and Ripley Junction as well as many places between Ripon and Northallerton and a journey from Ripon to Melmerby Junction and Masham. Through the DVD we see former London North Eastern Railway classes including A1’s, A3’s, A4’s, B1’s and K1’s along with varied diesel locomotives
