Marsden Rail Volume 12 - Hull

A Marsden Rail production with footage recorded between 1957 and 1968 with variety of services both in and around Hull. Scenes were filmed at many locations including Albert Dock Exchange Sidings, Botanic Gardens Station, Broomfleet Station, Cottingham South Junction, Cottingham Station, Dairy Coates East Junction, Dairy Coates Motive Power Depot, Dairy Coates West Junction, Golten Street Sidings, Hull Paragon Station, Melton Crossing, Melton Halt, Neptune Street Sidings, New Holland Station, North Ferriby Station, Snuff Mill Lane Station, St Georges Road Level Crossing, Walton Street Sidings and Withernsea. Also featured is preserved A3 4472 Flying Scotsman running on a rail tour plus condemned locomotives under the cutters torch at Neptune Street Goods Yard. Various steam locomotives shown range from 8F’s, 9F’s, A1’s, A4’s, A8’s, B1’s, B16’s, Black 5’s, Britannia’s, Ivatt Class 2’s, Ivatt Class 4’s, Jubilee’s, K1’s, K3’s, Q6’s, Standard Class 3’s, Standard Class 5’s, V2’s and WD’s among DMU’s.
