Description
This DVD looks at the locomotives of past and present on Kent and East Sussex Railway. Footage includes one of the Terriers actually being used in filming Oh Mr Porter at Northiam. History covers from when the line opened in 1901 up to the closure by BR of Headcorn section. The preserved Kent and East Sussex Railway opened in 1974 and since then have preserved locomotives of many varieties including single cylinder Gervais. K&ESR have also preserved diesel locomotives including Great Western rail car.
