Online Video production in which shows cinemas that have closed but have found a new use for other purposes. Start off looking at Cinemas that have been converted for use as restaurants such as the former Playhouse Theatre in Colchester, Opera House in Tunbridge Wells, Capitol Cinema in Forrest Hill, and Oxford Cinema in Whitstable. Also a look at remains of former Gaumont Theatres such as Peckham, Hoxton, Holloway, Clapham, Notting Hill Gate, New Cross, Islington, Camden Town, Shepherds Bush, Hammersmith, Wood Green, Chatham, Gillingham, and Kilburn. A feature is also shown of Alexandra Palace Theatre in Muswell Hill as well as British Cinema Museum at Elephant and Castle. This is then followed by a look at some other types of older-style cinemas including Finsbury Park Collingdale and Muswell Hill. DVD finishes off with centenary celebrations of Phoenix Cinema in East Finchley, Carlton Cinema in Westgate on Sea, and Electric Palace in Harwich. This DVD provides and excellent and superb documentary into many of the cinemas that although no longer in use with their original purpose have been lucky to find alternative uses in London and in Kent
