Brussels Trams 150 1869 - 2019

J&K Video production taking a look at celebrations which took place during early May 2019 in which were held to commemorate 150 years of trams in Brussel over a special weekend. Starting with 1st May 2019 at Place Royale where a number of trams were on static display along with a steam tram operating along a short section of isolated track. On this same day we see approximately 40 trams on parade running between Place Royale and Sainte Marie Church. On 2nd May 2019 we watch as 1935 built bogie tram number 5008 operating on a tour followed by a visit to Train World located at Schaerbeck Station as well as a visit to Vicinial Tram Museum at Schepdaal. Next is action from 3rd May 2019 with travels made on a variety of different trams as well as a look at Automium. Final section is from 4th May 2019 along route 81 as well as scenes from the European Tram Driver Championship held in Rue Royale before concluding with a visit to the Woluwe Tram Museum. This DVD shows the pure commemorative celebration of the history behind tramway travel in Brussels.
