37418 CAB RIDE PART 4 - HITHER GREEN TO DERBY

Last of the 4 Train Crazy productions in co-operation with Videoscene and with the full assistance of Loram Rail Operations in which a cab ride is taken on board to class 37 diesel locomotive 37418 named “An Comunn Gaidhealach” in large logo livery which is on hire to Loram Rail Operations. The locomotive over the days of 12th and 13th May 2023 worked a massive out and back journey from Derby, running a whopping 600 plus miles and reaching the Eastern and Southern regions. This fourth DVD among this series which is also a double disc, features the journey from Hither Green to Derby via Nunhead, Kensington Olympia, Upper Holloway, ECML and Melton Mowbray. Now hauling a track machine as a class 6 train (60 mph), the final journey is back via Nunhead and Kensington Olympia to Gospel Oak, on the GOBLIN line to Upper Holloway and the curve to the ECML. It's ECML all the way north, Stevenage, Hitchin, Sandy and Peterborough then Helpston Junction and the signal boxes and traditional signals on the line to Melton Mowbray, the lesser-used Syston East to North Junctions and then the MML north to Loughborough, Trent South Junction and Derby, finally propelling into the RTC.
