London Overground Lea Valley Lines & TFL

J&K video production takes a look at the London Overground Lea Valley Line operation between London Liverpool Street, Hackney Downs, Edmonton Green, Cheshunt, Enfield Town, and Chingfords. Operation started under the franchise of National Express in 2007 being taken over in 2012 by Abelio Greater Anglia. Services as seen are worked by class 315 and class 317 Electrical Multiple Units. Production also takes a look at class 315 Electrical Multiple Unit working and operation on TFL Rail between London Liverpool Street and Shenfield which first started in 2015. Beginning with London Overground Lea Valley line operation first on 8 ½ mile line from London Liverpool Street via Hackney Downs to Edmonton Green then onward for 5 ½ mile route to Cheshunt. Next is the 2 ½ mil route between Edmonton Green and Enfield Town. Another London Overground Lea Valley line operation featured is 10 ½ mile Chingford Branch. Following this is a feature on 20-mile TFL Rail operated route between London Liverpool Street via Ilford and Stratford to Shenfield. The final part of the DVD takes a brief look at the introduction of seven car class 345 Aventra Electric Multiple Units which were to replace aging class 315 electrical multiple units from June 2017 plus a look into the future with the new Elizabethan Line.
